Responsible for maintaining excellent standards of customer service at all times, with particular attention to all aspects of fire safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the delivery of high standards of customer service and safe operation of the hotel overnight, including handling reservations and enquiries.
  • Complete hourly security checks and be responsible for evacuation in emergencies.
  • Maintain the duty manager logbook and report all accidents and incidents accurately.
  • Adhere to all aspects of licensing law, trading standards, customs & excise regulations, food hygiene, and health & fire safety.

Qualifications:

  • Professional and well presented.
  • Good conversational English and excellent customer service focus.
  • Ability to communicate with people at all levels.
  • Self‑motivated and enthusiastic.
  • Ability to respond well to pressure and to handle people in emergency or conflict situations.
  • Fixed place of residence reasonably close to the pub and proof of right to work in the UK.
  • Must be over 18 to work in our hotels.
