Responsibilities
- Ensure the delivery of high standards of customer service and safe operation of the hotel overnight, including handling reservations and enquiries.
- Complete hourly security checks and be responsible for evacuation in emergencies.
- Maintain the duty manager logbook and report all accidents and incidents accurately.
- Adhere to all aspects of licensing law, trading standards, customs & excise regulations, food hygiene, and health & fire safety.
Qualifications
- Professional and well presented.
- Good conversational English and excellent customer service focus.
- Ability to communicate with people at all levels.
- Self‑motivated and enthusiastic.
- Ability to respond well to pressure and to handle people in emergency or conflict situations.
- Fixed place of residence reasonably close to the pub and proof of right to work in the UK.
- Must be over 18 to work in our hotels.
