The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 € per year.
The purpose of the role is to oversee the day to day running of Returns & Stock Control Department and the Stock Removals process. To ensure that daily targets are achieved and to maintain accuracy while delivering a high standard of customer service.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Distribute work fairly across the team to ensure targets and objectives are met with high standards of accuracy.
- Support in the identification and resolution of departmental operational issues.
- Oversee all aspects of Returns & Stock Control including:
- Retail Returns
- Problem Stocks
- Pricing of Clearance Stocks
- Multi-Channel Returns
- Stock Removals
- Supplier Returns
- Audits
- General queries
- eBay
- Report any potential quality or product issues to the relevant departments.
- Monitor levels of adjustments within the DC and analyse the information to identify and report on findings.
- Monitor the audit trail of cartons being despatched from the DC.
- Investigate discrepancies reported by stores and across multi sites.
- Audit stocks destined to and passed over to jobbers.
- Supervise the removal of ‘End of Line’ stocks to jobbers.
- Ensure that all returns are regularly collected.
- Carry out spot checks, monitor and oversee stocks destined for disposal including lost property.
- Assist with the ongoing development of all members of the department.
- Deputise for the Returns and Stock Control Supervisor in their absence.
- Complete any other reasonable ‘adhoc’ task in line with the needs of the Business and current level of responsibility.
- Development and documentation of new processes within the department.
- Ensure department KPI’s are met through operative training and development.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
- Previous experience of first line management is essential.
- Previous Returns or Stock Control experience would be preferred but not essential.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal.
- Demonstrate a high level of literacy and numeracy to produce documentation and maintain accurate records.
- Ability to prioritise work.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work on your own initiative.
- A team player.
- Computer literate.
- Ability to communicate and operate with staff at all levels.
- Conflict resolution skills.
- Confident in decision making.
- Professionalism and leadership skills are essential.
