The Fulfilment Manager is responsible for the end-to-end OMS allocation process from Order Placement to Delivery and Returns. This role executes the JD Group global and local strategy, projects and improvements across all fulfilment methods and delivery options. The Fulfilment Manager will maintain accurate rules and logic within OMS systems monitoring digital supply chain performance and health to lead analysis, insight and reporting visibility. This role uses the above to support and contribute to group supply chain strategies and business priorities. This role is responsible for maintaining stability of the current logic and suggesting options for the future improvements of process and system driven efficiencies to improve cost and or service.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Monitor operational flows across all delivery methods, options and fulfilment locations for Digital
- Manage OMS relationships with 3rd parties
- Manage all business requirements aligned to budget for order allocation
- Manage all business requirements aligned to workload planning – DC/Store
- Responsible for OMS logic applied to each order flow for any UK & EU fascia
- Responsible for Returns routing logic as per business requirements
- Work with linked departments such as Retail & Trade & Transport Teams
- Maintain visibility across OMS systems with rules and logic accuracy/performance
- Lead project scopes which impact digital fulfilment engaging all relevant stakeholders both internal and external as relevant to projects
- Represent OMS for Digital at project meetings and reviews
- Be a trusted contact for all JD stakeholders, and build relationships throughout JD internal teams acting as internal supplier manager across Digital, Trade, Merch, Customer Care & Retail
- Maintain market knowledge of OMS optimisation
- Work with Supply Chain MI to own data integrity across multiple data sources with different data outputs
- Submit business cases for operational improvements to senior leadership
Skill/Experience/Knowledge Needed:
- Working knowledge of Supply Chain & Logistics – preferably in Retail/Online
- Previous experience using OMS/CMS systems essential
- Full working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage a team of varying skillsets & coverage of projects
- Comfortable with fast paced work environment with frequent change
- Strong people skills with clear written and oral communication capabilities
- Ability to adapt communication style to various situations and stakeholders
- Can do, positive attitude for all and any challenges and tasks
- Business Degree preferred
