THE ROLE
As Back of House Manager, you will own all activity happening in the BOH. This includes managing inbound deliveries, preparing outbound transfers, leading a team, and ensuring inventory accuracy motivated, have a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead day-to-day operations of the stockroom (BOH).
- Ensure accurate labeling, logical placement, and maintaining general order work within company guidelines, policies and procedures.
- Helping with onboarding and training of new starters.
- Maintain an awareness of all product knowledge, and current or upcoming product/trends.
REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND BEHAVIORS
- 3+ years stockroom and/or distribution center experience
- 2+ years people management experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and task oriented.
- Must have a high sense of urgency.
- Being both proactive and organized.
- Full time availability – standard daily starts as early 8am, including late nights, weekends, and holidays in line with changing business needs.
- Proven experience supervising, training and developing team members.
- Strong cognitive and mathematical skills, including problem analysis, decision making and financial analysis.
- High level of ethics, values, integrity, and trust.
- Openness to feedback and willingness to develop.
- Leadership - You're an inspirational and dynamic leader who is naturally warm and compassionate towards others with an insatiable drive to exceed results and celebrate successes.
- Being passionate and knowledgeable about streetwear and sneaker culture.
- G-Suite, experience with Gmail, Google Docs, Sheets is an asset.
- Experience with Jesta POS, Shopify and Slack platform is an asset.
