Role overview

Sales Assistant to play a vital role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience for customers. There are opportunities for career development for those motivated by progression and developing their career within the group.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and ensuring they receive the best experience while understanding the customer service measurement programme.
  • Drive and exceed sales targets by using in-store devices, offering the full product range, and maximizing opportunities for add-on sales.
  • Maintain high visual and merchandising standards by keeping the shop floor clean, well-stocked, and displays organized according to brand guidelines.
  • Support store operations by assisting in other departments as needed, representing the company professionally and adhering to safety guidelines.
  • Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and card payments.
  • Upsell and cross-sell products to maximise sales opportunities.
  • Maintain stock levels on the shop floor and ensure shelves are well-organized and appealing.
  • Address and resolve customer queries professionally. Work with colleagues to achieve store targets.

Role objectives and KPI’s

  • Contribute to achieving or exceeding the store’s monthly sales target.
  • Drive KPIs such as Units, Conversion, ATV, UPT and upsell/cross-sell targets.
  • Maintain a high Net Promoter Score and ensure stock on the shop floor is fully replenished.

  • Positive attitude for a fast-paced, customer-focused retail environment.
  • Openness to develop yourself and learn new skills; confident interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with customers.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by store needs.
