Role overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic Sales Assistant to play a vital role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. With ample opportunity for career development, JD Group is the place to be for those motivated by progression and interested in developing their career.
Responsibilities
- Provide a knowledgeable and seamless customer experience for all customers that enter the store.
- Continuously maintain clean and tidy stock standards on the shop floor.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales and KPI targets by staying informed on current trends, in‑store promotions and evolving store processes.
- Drive sales, ensuring targets are achieved and, where possible, exceeded.
- Utilise in‑store devices, offering the customer the whole product range.
- Provide alternatives and add‑on sales at every opportunity.
- Replenish stock levels when needed, ensuring the full‑size range is on the shop floor.
- Ensure that product is priced correctly.
- Deputise for other staff, work within departments, or carry out other duties as required.
- Represent JD Sports in the most professional manner.
- Conduct work in a safe and responsible manner.
