Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic Sales Assistant to play a vital role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. With affluent opportunities for career development, JD Group is the place to be if you are motivated by progression and interested in developing your career.
Responsibilities
- Providing a knowledgeable and seamless customer experience for all customers that enter the store.
- Continuously maintaining clean and tidy stock standards on the shop floor at all times.
- Collaborating with team members to achieve sales and KPI targets through knowledge of current trends, in‑store promotions and evolving store processes.
- Driving sales, ensuring that targets are achieved and, where possible, exceeded.
- Utilising in‑store devices, offering the customer the whole product range and providing alternatives and add‑on sales at every opportunity.
- Replenishing stock levels when needed to ensure the full product range is available on the shop floor.
- Ensuring that products are priced correctly.
- Deputising for other staff, working across departments, or carrying out other duties as required.
- Representing JD Sports in the most professional manner at all times.
- Conducting work in a safe and responsible manner.
- Actively driving sales to support the store in meeting and exceeding its financial goals.
- Ensuring the timely and accurate replenishment of stock on the shop floor to maintain optimal product availability.
