Role Overview:
The purpose of the role is to oversee the day-to-day running of the Returns & Stock Control Department and the Stock Removals process, ensuring that daily targets are achieved while maintaining accuracy and delivering a high standard of customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Distribute work fairly across the team to ensure targets and objectives are met.
- Support in the identification and resolution of departmental operational issues.
- Oversee all aspects of Returns & Stock Control including:
- Retail Returns
- Problem Stocks
- Pricing of Clearance Stocks
- Multi-Channel Returns
- Stock Removals
- Supplier Returns
- Audits
- General queries
- eBay
Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
- Some previous experience of first line management within a distribution environment preferred.
- Previous Returns or Stock Control experience preferred but not essential.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal.
- Demonstrate a high level of literacy and numeracy to produce documentation and maintain accurate records.
- Ability to prioritise work.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work on your own initiative.
- A team player.
- Computer literate.
- Ability to communicate and operate with staff at all levels.
- Conflict resolution skills.
- Confident in decision making.
- Professionalism and leadership skills are essential.
