Profit & Asset Protection Outdoor Returns Operative
Responsible to: Returns Management
Department: Group Profit & Asset Protection
Location: Kingsway DC - Rochdale
Hours: Dayshift Monday – Friday between 06:00-17:00
Role Overview:
The purpose of this job is to ensure that all types of Store & Internet returns are processed end to end in accordance with company procedures, also completing other tasks on Outdoor Returns such as; Clearance to stores, ODD Shoes, Tent Inspections, Return to Vendor, Shogun Scan and others.
Responsibilities:
- Unload, breakdown and locate all inbound Retail Returns from both internal and external sources.
- Meet all KPI’s set within the department.
- Process all Retail/internet Return types from across the group.
- Report any potential quality or product issues to the Management team for review.
- Complete returns documentation & liaise with suppliers via email and phone.
- Liaise and interact with all operational functions within the DC to ensure that stocks and returns are processed & stored in their respective locations.
- Complete any other ADHOC tasks as directed by your line Manager in line with current levels of responsibility.
- Training on all different job types on Outdoor Returns to be able to be flexible and work where required.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
- Good communication skills both written and verbal.
- Shogun/WMS skills preferred but not essential.
- Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to prioritize work.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work on your own initiative.
- Be able to communicate and operate with all levels of staff.
