We’re looking for a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer to support a complex range of mechanical handling equipment (MHE) including automated cranes, conveyors, sorters, and PLC‑driven systems. What you’ll be doing:
- Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical & PLC faults across automated systems
- Respond quickly to breakdowns, minimising operational downtime
- Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to a high standard
- Use CMMS to track maintenance, parts and follow‑up actions
- Work closely with Operations to ensure maximum uptime and performance
- Contribute to continuous improvement and equipment reliability
What we’re looking for:
- Apprentice‑trained (Mechanical or Electrical)
- Strong multi‑skilled fault‑finding experience
- Knowledge of PLC systems (Siemens preferred)
- Experience in automated, FMCG, or warehouse environments (highly desirable)
