The role involves processing all types of Store & Supplier returns end-to-end according to company procedures, investigating warehouse adjustments, and conducting stock checks to maximize accuracy and stock availability. Ensuring adherence to all procedures and maintaining high standards is essential.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Unload, breakdown, and locate all inbound retail returns from internal and external sources.
- Meet all departmental KPIs.
- Process all retail/internet return types across the group.
- Report potential quality or product issues to management.
- Complete return documentation and liaise with suppliers via email and phone.
- Maintain logs of return consignments pending dispatch.
- Sort, grade, and up-cycle selected stock types.
- Support colleagues' development and personal growth.
- Coordinate with operational functions within the DC to ensure proper processing and storage of stocks and returns.
- Analyze adjustments and report findings.
- Investigate stock movements to ensure accurate locations and quantities.
- Perform any other ad hoc tasks as directed by your line manager.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of Shogun/WMS systems preferred but not essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- High literacy and numeracy skills for documentation and record-keeping.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Teamwork and self-motivation.
- Good communication skills across all staff levels.
