Role overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic Sales Assistant to play a vital role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. With affluent opportunities for career development, JD Group is the place to be if you are motivated by progression and interested in developing your career.
Responsibilities
- Provide a knowledgeable and seamless customer experience for all customers that enter the store.
- Continuously maintain clean and tidy stock standards on the shop floor.
- Collaborate with your team members to achieve sales and KPI targets by staying knowledgeable on current trends, in-store promotions and evolving store processes.
- Drive sales, ensuring that targets are achieved and where possible exceeded.
- Utilise in-store devices, offering the customer the full product range and providing alternatives and add-on sales at every opportunity.
- Replenish stock levels when needed, ensuring the full-size range is on the shop floor.
- Ensure that product is priced correctly.
- Deputise for other staff, work within departments or carry out other duties as required.
- Always represent JD Sports in the most professional manner and conduct your work in a safe and responsible way.
- Provide exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction and retention, and actively drive sales to support the store in meeting and exceeding its financial goals.
