We are looking for an enthusiastic Floor Manager ready to step into a junior management role and advance within the team. As the vital link between senior managers and frontline staff, you will collaborate closely with senior leadership, champion career development, and represent JD Group values internally and externally.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction by driving exceptional service standards and promptly addressing customer needs.
  • Drive team sales through effective merchandising, stock replenishment, and team motivation.
  • Lead and develop the shop‑floor team to achieve high performance, engagement, and adherence to store policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and visually appealing shop‑floor to enhance the customer shopping experience.
  • Ensure regular stock replenishment and accurate inventory management.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving complaints professionally.
  • Assist with day‑to‑day operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Support cash management tasks such as processing transactions and reconciling tills.
  • Foster a positive work environment by leading, mentoring, and developing store colleagues to enhance their performance and engagement.

Role objectives and KPIs

  • Contribute to, and exceed, the store’s monthly sales target.
  • Drive additional KPIs including units, conversion, average transaction value (ATV), and units per transaction (UPT).
  • Achieve upselling or cross‑selling targets.
  • Maintain a high Net Promoter Score.
  • Ensure stock accuracy during store audits.
  • Guarantee that all new colleagues complete mandatory training.
  • Meet or exceed company benchmarks for employee satisfaction and engagement survey results.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous supervisory or management experience in a fast‑paced, retail/customer‑facing environment.
  • Passionate about retail and knowledgeable of the latest trends and competitors.
  • Experience coaching and developing individuals.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards on the shop floor.
  • Ability to promote JD Group values to internal and external stakeholders.
