The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.

The purpose of this job is to support the Product Developer & Senior Product Developer with the development of JD Own Brand product, taking responsibility for specific areas under close supervision. The successful candidate will have relevant qualifications and some experience along with a passion for our product.

Location: JD Group, Hollinsbrook Way, Pilsworth, Bury, BL9 8RR.

Working hours: 40 Hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Issuing packs/comments & Supplier communications throughout the process
  • Setting up basic size charts, maintaining and keeping block library updated within the team
  • Creating basic BOMs
  • Completing Test report approvals/ITS online, chasing suppliers and managing approvals
  • Understanding a test matrix, training with PD on creation of a test matrix
  • Creating Care Label Templates
  • Critical path monitoring
  • Understanding sales analysis
  • Taking on areas of responsibility for specific ranges under the guidance of PD & SPD as appropriate
  • Managing day to day incoming/outgoing samples where required in a timely manner ensuring correct documentation attached
  • Assisting in the creation of tech packs and costings on the PLM system
  • Approving lab-dips and strike offs referring issues to the design and buying team
  • Taking part in fit sessions and adding fit comments to the PLM system
  • Sample measuring and comments
  • Maintaining the critical path on PLM system, chasing relevant info from suppliers and reporting issues

What We're Looking For:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft office software is essential
  • JD retail experience is highly desirable
  • Basic Illustrator knowledge an advantage
  • Good organisational and communication skills
  • Relevant Degree or equivalent level qualifications/experience which incorporates Clothing Technology and Product development
