Role Overview
JD Gyms is an award‑winning budget gym chain rapidly expanding across the UK. We invest over £1.5 m in fitting out our gyms to create top‑quality, stylish environments for our members. We’re looking for someone who shares our passion for cleanliness and can play an integral part in our gym team, maintaining meticulous cleaning standards while interacting with members.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that all policies and procedures in both the Health and Safety Employee Policy and Company Procedures Handbook are adhered to.
- Maintain the JD Gyms Brand Standard.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and safety checks.
- Report all defects to ensure the building and its equipment is safe to use.
- Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness throughout the gym facility.
- Maintain uniform standards personally.
- Deliver outstanding member service.
- Participate in colleague training videos to assist in delivering exceptional standards across the group.
- Perform any other reasonable duties.
Skills and Experience
- Hard working with strong interpersonal skills and great attention to detail.
- Passion for exceeding expectations.
- Previous experience in a similar role, with the ability to multi‑task and work unsupervised.
- Effective communication skills and approachable to members and other staff.
