As a Supervisor at JD Sports you will support the smooth running of the shop floor and deliver high service standards.
Hourly rate: £13.06
The role involves leading by example, guiding colleagues, maintaining customer service, presentation and store performance, and supporting daily operational tasks as directed by Store Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent JD service by supporting customers, resolving queries and ensuring team presentation meets brand expectations.
- Support sales performance by monitoring service levels, using in‑store devices to offer the full product range, and assisting with effective product placement.
- Maintain strong visual and operational standards by keeping the shop floor clean, organised and aligned with JD’s brand expectations.
- Assist with daily operational duties including opening and closing procedures, cashing up and supporting accurate till operations.
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous supervisory or team‑leader experience in fast‑paced retail or customer‑facing environments.
- Strong communication skills and confidence to guide and support colleagues on the shop floor.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to uphold high standards in service, presentation and store operations.
- Passion for retail, strong product and trend awareness, and ability to promote JD Group values.
