Paid Media Lead
As a Paid Media Lead, you will be part of the senior team and will help to lead, inspire, and develop our market‑leading in‑house Paid Media team. You will spearhead best‑in‑class Paid Media strategy, automation, and implementation across Paid Search, Paid Social & Digital Display, and work closely with other channel leads and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a strong understanding and practical ability of working across all Paid Media, with a focus on Paid Search and/or Paid Social platforms and concepts.
- Manage, own, and continually improve the workflow of your team through automation & effectiveness. Regularly review team processes (reports, presentations, tools, etc.) for efficiency.
- Oversee key projects such as feed management, tech provider changes, and onboarding of new technology.
- Support managers in reviewing & suggesting tactical changes based on current performance and impact on campaign goals & KPIs.
- Increase knowledge of different Paid Media functions in the team, providing market context and predicting ‘what’s next’.
- Help develop the Paid Media department by being innovative and sharing knowledge and processes.
- Own relationships with external suppliers (Google, Facebook, Apple, Twitter, etc.) from a strategic & project point of view.
- Own relationships with technology partners & continuously review the market, building a preferred partner list.
- Develop our best practice to keep the department at the forefront of the industry (e.g., conduct SWOT analysis regularly, identify new opportunities/platforms, and scale them).
- Develop and manage your team to make them best in class, ensuring each member has annual objectives and personal development plans.
- Develop cross‑channel integration as part of the planning process.
- Act as a point of escalation and manage challenging situations.
- Remain abreast of developments in Paid Media and the broader digital space.
Professional Skills & Experiences
- Ability to pre‑empt issues and be proactive in producing solutions.
- High degree of numeracy and literacy.
- Ability to work under pressure in a performance‑driven environment.
- Aptitude to build and maintain strong working relationships.
- Effective team management (team of 4-6 people).
- Highly literate in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Office365, Google Docs.
- Excellent communicator, comfortable articulating actions.
- Effective time‑management skills with the ability to multi‑task.
- High attention to detail.
- Experience managing sophisticated Paid Search/Paid Social campaigns & teams.
- In‑depth knowledge of Paid Media from an implementation & planning perspective.
- Google Shopping, Facebook DPA, Retargeting experience.
- Feed Management & Feed Technology knowledge.
- CSS experience.
- Google Analytics experience.
- Appreciation of the Paid Media ecosystem (how Paid Search influences Paid Social).
- Facebook Blueprint Certified & Twitter Flight School desired.
- Google Ads Certified desired.
- Second language an advantage.
