Job Summary
This paralegal position specializes in Intellectual Property and Brand Protection. You will work closely with Senior IP Counsel to support the JD Group in all IP matters.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor JD Group’s IP portfolio.
- File UK trademark applications.
- Handle registry matters at the UK Intellectual Property Office and World Intellectual Property Office.
- Conduct IP and case‑law research.
- Coordinate with overseas attorneys for IP protection.
- Assist with domain‑name complaints.
- Provide IP training to the legal team and wider JD Group.
- Liaise with business stakeholders across the JD Group.
- Generate IP reports and analyse data.
- Provide general administrative support.
Qualifications
- Law degree.
- Experience as a paralegal.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Self‑motivated, ambitious, team player who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and can explain matters simply to non‑legal stakeholders.
