Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparation of monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and specific cost line reporting.
- Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Responsible for maintaining and updating the Fixed Asset Registers.
- Responsibility for reporting property costs.
- Assist with intercompany reconciliations.
- Help with monthly cost centre packs and consult with Gyms management team as needed.
- Aid with production of budgets/forecasts including monthly reforecasts for depreciation.
- Producing month to date sales reports.
- Adhere to group reporting deadlines.
- National statistics returns.
- Raising of Purchase Orders in the Coupa system.
- Ad hoc project work.
Skills, Experience, Knowledge:
- Studying towards AAT / CIMA / ACCA. Assistance and study support can be provided to continue towards relevant financial qualification.
- Strong analytical skills required in order to investigate, understand and explain variances and overall business performance.
- Diligence and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work under your own initiative.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Effective communication skills both written and oral.
