Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage the Own Brand transition to 3D Design, working with the Design Manager, Production Development Leads and wider Design Team.
- Implement 3D software into the business’ Design process and timelines.
- Support long term strategic planning to provide end to end 3D/AI assets and integration for the business, building cross functional relationships with Studio, Buying and Merchandising teams.
- Creating 3D designs across Menswear, Womenswear, Juniors and Accessories.
- Creating 3D working patterns and recreation of 2D technical designs.
- Assisting the team members to solve 3D development and production issues collaborating with the Product Development Lead.
- Skilled in creating 3D fabrics, trims, graphics and prints.
- Proficient in developing digital garment patterns and pattern amendments with 3D software.
- Utilise the latest visualisation techniques to enhance project impact, along with 3D design rendering and presentation techniques.
- Manage the coaching and mentoring of the wider team and developing their 3D skills.
- Line manage Junior members of the team.
- Support the Design Manager in rolling out Design strategies and projects.
- Support the departmental sustainability initiatives, fully exploring and initiating all 3D opportunities.
- Supporting the Global PD Lead and Design Manager in international growth of Own Brands, Joint Ventures and Franchises by utilising the 3D systems and process.
- Maintain cutting edge knowledge and skills in 3D.
