Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Working with the 3D lead designer to establish the 3D design process within the JD design team.
- Working to re-create 2D technical drawings into 3D workable assets.
- Using graphical knowledge to create 3D graphics, trims and brandings in the 3D software.
- Taking Brand knowledge and understanding the design process through timelines and brand DNA to enable 3D workflow.
- Excellent time management skills to help plan workflow and creation of 3D assets across all Own Brands.
- Working with the 3D Lead and Design manager on 3D and AI projects.
- Developing 3D knowledge, from patterns to design, to trims to final render to deliver working assets to the wider team and Studio.
- Knowledge of fabric, print and factory technologies.
- Understanding Trend direction and brand DNA along with customer profiles.
- Collaborate and engage the 3D software and processes to the wider design team.
- Working with 3D Design Lead and 3D Product Development Lead to develop Bill of materials within the 3D software.
- Working with 3D Design Lead and 3D Product Development Lead to gain knowledge of fabric scanning, fitting techniques and avatars.
- Creating 3D designs across Menswear, Womenswear, Juniors and Accessories.
- Support the departmental sustainability initiatives, fully exploring and initiating all 3D opportunities.
- Continually create market research and Tradeshows visits to ensure always up to date with the latest 3D technologies.
Key Skills
- Previous knowledge of 3D design tools.
- Adaptability to work across teams, projects and categories.
- Experienced in Adobe suites Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Excellent presentational skills.
