Senior Project Manager – UK(Remote working but need to be based in UK) – Wind, Solar and Battery Energy Storage Projects!

I am working with a client of mine who are a global engineering, design, digital and advisory services business across 40 countries. This role is apart of their Energy department and you would be focusing on the renewable energy portfolio across UK and Ireland.

They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Project Manager to lead the planning, design, and delivery of renewable energy projects across the UK. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop solutions that accelerate the deployment of clean energy technologies.

🌍 Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution and transmission and distribution, solar, and battery storage projects from feasibility to commissioning.
  • Manage EPC projects through pre-construction and construction phases
  • Support clients and funders to reach financial close
  • Lead tendering and contract negotiations for major equipment
  • Prepare project delivery plans and budgets
  • Administer construction contracts and manage variations
  • Ensure safety standards and statutory roles are met
  • Contribute to business development and mentor junior engineers
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure project compliance and success.

🧠 What They are Looking For:

  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field).
  • 5+ years of project management experience in renewable energy or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of renewable energy systems and grid integration.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Be a Chartered Engineer (or working towards / close to Chartered or Incorporated status)
  • You have a proven track record on business development or commercially capable.
  • Contract knowledge (e.g. FIDIC, NEC or similar);
