This role is central to enabling the UK’s energy transition and strengthening cross-border grid connectivity.
- Manage the full lifecycle of HVDC converter station delivery, from design through commissioning.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
- Interface with internal stakeholders, contractors, OEMs, and grid operators.
- Ensure compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee project controls including budget, schedule, risk, and reporting.
- Support contract management under NEC or FIDIC frameworks.
- Drive quality assurance and performance across all phases of delivery.
Proven experience delivering large-scale electrical infrastructure projects, ideally HVDC or transmission-related.
Familiarity with project controls tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and contract management.
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline.
PMP, APM, PRINCE2 preferred.
