We’re looking for an ambitious, hands‑on Team Leader to drive success in our high‑performing Permanent Recruitment division. This billing manager role leads a team of 7 consultants (from Associate to Senior Principal level) and places mid‑to‑senior professionals across the UK renewable energy and energy transition sector. You’ll inherit a warm desk previously managed by one of our top billers (£380K best year), giving you a strong foundation to build on while shaping the future of the team.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and inspire a team of 7 consultants, ensuring delivery of exceptional results.
- Act as a strategic partner to clients, providing expert guidance and tailored talent solutions across the EMEA energy market.
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies that meet client needs and drive team success.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, sharing best practices to enhance team performance.
- Oversee salary negotiations and manage the offer process for successful placements.
- Drive new business development, building strong relationships with targeted clients across the UK and EU.
- Maintain your own billing responsibilities, setting the standard for performance.
About You
- Proven experience in Energy Recruitment (Perm focus preferred).
- Previous leadership or mentoring experience within a recruitment environment.
- Financially motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.
- A true team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
Up to 40% commission. 30 days annual leave. 1 week work from any office (including our international locations). 8 Office Locations (Sydney, London, Bristol, Manchester, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Austin and New York).
