The Role:
As a Project Developer, you will play a key role in the end-to-end development of solar PV and battery energy storage projects. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to identify, assess, and progress projects through the development lifecycle—from site identification to ready-to-build status.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and assess new project opportunities across the UK.
- Manage land acquisition processes, including landowner negotiations and securing lease agreements.
- Coordinate planning applications, environmental assessments, and grid connection processes.
- Liaise with local authorities, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure project viability and compliance.
- Support financial modelling, risk analysis, and project reporting.
- Collaborate with technical, legal, and commercial teams to drive project success.
Requirements:
- 3–6 years of experience in renewable energy project development, ideally in solar PV and/or battery storage.
- Strong understanding of UK planning and permitting processes.
- Experience with land acquisition and stakeholder engagement.
