Known for their entrepreneurial culture and strong pipeline across multiple European markets, they specialize in originating, developing, and delivering utility‑scale Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage (BESS) projects. With significant investment and long‑term ambitions, they’re expanding their London-based team and looking for a dedicated Italian-speaking Project Developer to help drive their growth in Italy.

The Role: As a Project Developer, you’ll play a pivotal role in identifying, developing, and progressing renewable energy projects across Italy, while collaborating closely with the wider development, engineering, and commercial teams in London. You’ll be the bridge between Italian project stakeholders and the company’s UK-based leadership, bringing local insight, cultural understanding, and on-the-ground experience to support the success of the Italian market portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Originate and manage utility-scale renewable energy projects in Italy
  • Engage with landowners, authorities, consultants, and grid operators
  • Conduct feasibility assessments and contribute to permitting processes
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams based in London
  • Represent the business in the Italian market while being fully embedded in the London office

What We’re Looking For:

  • Fluent or native Italian speaker (essential)
  • Proven experience delivering renewable energy projects in Italy
  • Ideally a background in Solar PV and/or Battery Energy Storage (BESS). Other areas of Renewable Energy are also great.
  • Strong stakeholder management and project development skills
  • Willingness to relocate to London and be office-based to collaborate closely with the team
  • A proactive, solution-focused mindset with a passion for accelerating the energy transition
