My client is a leading player in the industry that I have partnered with in asset management business operating in Europe’s clean energy transition. They are an Irish business who have acquired new solar and BESS projects in the UK so they are looking for someone based in either Dublin or the Midlands of UK to manage these assets.

This role combines technical and commercial competencies to provide management and oversight, optimizing reliability and performance for the business.

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of renewable energy assets, mainly solar and battery energy storage projects across the UK and Ireland/EU.
  • Supervise and control daily operation of facility, established working practices, work and asset management systems.
  • Managing all commercial contracts associated with the assigned assets, including external Asset Management Services, PPA/s, O&M, lease agreements and monitor contractor performance on these contracts to maximise value.
  • Responsible for stakeholder management, liaising with landowners and managing contractors and subcontractors on site.
  • Experience in managing multiple stakeholders related to asset operations and maintenance.
  • Proven experience in asset management, preferably in the renewable energy sector or related industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. A master’s degree is a plus.
  • Managing contractors and contract negotiations.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement asset management strategies to optimize performance and maximize value.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and financial models.
