We’re partnering with a leading independent energy and sustainability consultancy that is helping organisations across the UK reduce carbon emissions, optimise energy usage, and accelerate their journey to net zero. With a strong reputation for delivering practical, data-led solutions, they are growing their Energy Services team and are now looking for a Senior Energy Consultant to play a key role in delivering high-impact projects and trusted client advice.
The Opportunity:
This is a client-facing, advisory role where you’ll work with a diverse portfolio spanning both public and private sectors. You’ll lead on critical energy and sustainability initiatives, helping companies turn insight into meaningful action.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead ESOS assessments across a range of industries
- Deliver SECR reporting and detailed carbon analysis (Scope 1, 2 & 3)
- Identify energy efficiency improvements and cost-saving opportunities
- Support clients in developing net zero strategies and carbon reduction plans
- Present clear, impactful insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Act as a trusted advisor, building strong client relationships
- Contribute to business development and mentor junior team members
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience delivering ESOS audits and energy assessments
- Strong understanding of SECR, GHG Protocol, and sustainability frameworks
- Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights
- Excellent report writing and client communication skills
- A proactive, consultative mindset with strong stakeholder management
- ESOS Lead Assessor accreditation (or working towards it) is highly desirable
