We are looking for a

CHP Maintenance Engineer to join an established team in the critical power sector.

This role involves travelling all-round the UK mainly the within the South however at times throughout the UK using your engineering and computer skills to carry out routine servicing work on a range of CHP’s in the range of 30k W – 500k W.

This will be a mixture of scheduled service work and reactive work where you would be the first-responder to a breakdown on site.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to clients and colleagues and be part of the wider technical support team that supports our customers.
  • Maintain regular communications with the service team.
  • While on site observe health and safety at work procedures and complete required Risk Assessments.
  • Diligence at all times in protecting the business commercial and warranty liabilities

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years as a CHP Service Engineer (or closely related role).
  • Strong practical knowledge of LTHW hot water systems (pumps, inverter drives, delta T, BMS controls) and LV power generation/distribution.
  • Experience with software control systems.
  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification (Essential)
  • CSCS Card
  • MWM Trained or Gas Safe registered (Highly Desirable)
  • Experience with building services plant such as boilers, HVAC, BMS
  • Knowledge of BMS protocol languages such as Modbus / Profibus / BACNet
  • A flexible approach to travel and overnight stays, excellent communication skills, a positive mental attitude, and the ability to think on your feet!
