Due to expansion and growth on multiple large-scale Data Centre fit-out projects, we are seeking experienced and commercially sharp Electrical Quantity Surveyor (QS) for permanent or contract positions supporting our operations in London and Dublin. We are a leading M&E contractor specialising in high-value commercial and infrastructure projects.
We are seeking a well-rounded, ambitious Electrical Quantity Surveyor who can confidently manage the entire project lifecycle — from cradle to grave. You will be equally comfortable in the pre-contract phase building accurate, competitive estimates and digital take-offs as you are post-contract, managing live on-site commercial delivery, variations, and final accounts.
- Lead digital take-offs, prepare competitive tender packages, review contract conditions, and identify commercial risks/opportunities.
- Manage on-site financial delivery, including procurement of specialist electrical sub-contractors (switchgear, BMS, fire systems).
- Track, value, and negotiate site variations and instructions under standard forms of contract JCT / NEC4.
- Prepare accurate monthly Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs), cash flow forecasts, and present reports to senior leadership.
- Negotiate and finalise sub-contract and main contract final accounts to maximize profitability.
- Manage procurement, variations, valuations, and payment certifications for electrical subcontractors.
- Identify, price, and negotiate variations and contract amendments in line with data centre project fast-track schedules.
- Maintain project risk registers and ensure contract compliance (NEC/JCT/RIAI frameworks).
- Manage the full commercial lifecycle of electrical fit-out packages from pre-construction to final account close-out.
Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor specializing in Electrical/MEP packages is required. Experience within critical infrastructure (Data Centres, Pharmaceutical, or major Industrial builds) is highly advantageous. Proven track record of independently managing electrical scopes. Demonstrated capability handling both pre-contract estimating and post-contract site delivery. Proficient in digital measurement/estimating software.
If you have a strong background in MEP commercial management (electrically biased) and want to work on fast-paced, high-value critical infrastructure projects, we want to hear from you.
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related engineering discipline is essential. Attractive base salary/day rate tailored to experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package.
