J&D Pierce (Contracts) Ltd is Scotland\’s premier steelwork contractor working on some of UK\’s most exciting construction projects like Anfield Stadium, the National Innovation Centre, and Queen Street Station, changing the skyline of the UK.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Fabricators / Platers at our Glengarnock facility in Ayrshire.

Responsibilities:

• Proficiently fabricate structural steel, plate girders, and bridge work.
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings.
• Performing welding tasks on structural steel, ensuring the highest quality of work.
• Adhering to established welding procedures and specifications.
• Maintaining a safe and organised work environment.

Requirements:

• Completion of a four-year apprenticeship in fabrication.
• Possession of a valid driver\’s license.
• Demonstrated workshop-based experience.
• Strong initiative and proactive mindset.
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to health and safety procedures.
• Collaborative spirit to work effectively within a team or independently.
• Flexibility to work overtime when required.
