is looking for a
Dispatcher & Call Handler
to join our busy rescue and recovery operation. This is a varied role where youll be responsible for taking incoming calls, organising recovery work and keeping our drivers and customers updated throughout the day. The Role As a Dispatch & Call Handler, your responsibilities will include: Taking incoming customer and breakdown/recovery calls Accurately recording job details onto our systems Dispatching and allocating work to recovery operatives Liaising with drivers, customers, police, garages and other organisations Monitoring ongoing jobs and keeping customers updated Prioritising urgent and time-sensitive work Dealing with queries professionally and efficiently Working as part of a busy control room team Working Pattern Rolling 4 days on / 4 days off We can be flexible around your
start time , but the shift must have a
finish time between 10pm and midnight . Examples could include: 10:00am
10:00pm or 6:00pm
Midnight The exact start time can be discussed with the successful candidate. Were Looking For Were looking for someone who is: Calm and professional under pressure Confident speaking to customers and drivers Organised and able to multitask Comfortable using computers and telephone systems Able to make decisions quickly and prioritise workloads Reliable and punctual A good team player Previous dispatch, control room, transport, recovery or call-handling experience would be an advantage,
