Job Purpose: To provide quality assured customer service through application of Industry and Company standards.

Technical Competencies:

  • General day to day vehicle maintenance and repair, tyres, wheel alignment, general advice and assistance to get customers going and keep the fleet on the road.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Identify worn & faulty components needs in accordance with the Company Standards.
  • 6 weekly inspections and remedial work.
  • Preventative repairs.
  • Advise customer of work required to ensure vehicle is in roadworthy condition.
  • Remove & refit components and carry out tyre related adjustments in accordance with the Technical Standards and Work Instructions.
  • Repair tyres in accordance with the Technical Standards and Work Instructions.
  • Contribute to Good Housekeeping routines.
  • Stock taking as directed.
  • Effect roadside repairs as and when necessary.
  • Give reassurance to vulnerable drivers, general motoring advice and customer support.
  • Provide workshop backup to get customers back on the road in the shortest time possible.
  • Assist with the loading and off-loading of customers' vehicles.
  • Complete workshop job sheets and raise purchase orders as required.
  • Carry out such other duties as may be reasonably associated with their position, are within their capabilities and competence and are normally carried out in the course of the Company’s business in compliance with SSOW.
