Join or sign in to find your next job. We are looking for a Fitness Coach β JD GYMS at JD Gyms. JD Gyms is an award-winning gym chain expanding across the UK. We invest in top quality, stylish environments and robust on-the-ground teams to deliver an outstanding fitness offering.
Role type and structure: Employed Fitness Coach (part-time, 12 hours per week, 3 x 4-hour shifts) with a monthly salary; in addition, you will run a self-employed Personal Training (PT) business from the same club, paying rent monthly. A dedicated PT Business Support team is available to help grow your PT business.

Responsibilities
- Place member experience at the heart of everything you do; engage with members on the gym floor and deliver welcoming tours in line with JD Gyms brand standards.
- Deliver engaging group exercise classes, member inductions, and assist prospective members with joining JD Gyms as required.
- Conduct club standards checks, ensure accurate record keeping, and maintain high cleanliness standards as set by the Gym Management and Operations team.
- Monitor service delivery through performance and member feedback; operate safely and legally at all times; consider energy, environmental, and waste management issues.
- Provide ad hoc member support as required and ensure the club remains safe and compliant with health and safety standards.
- Analyse and present key data to support new ideas and initiatives.
Skills and Experience
- Passion for fitness, health, wellbeing and helping people; embodies JD Gyms brand standards and values.
- Enthusiastic, flexible in approach, and receptive to feedback; capable of adapting style to different personalities.
- Team-oriented; reliable in supporting colleagues, members and local communities.
- Level 3 (EQF Level 4) Personal Trainer qualification.
- Strong communication and client-facing skills; ability to deliver high-quality member experiences.
