Role Overview
Your purpose will be to engage with members to ensure they receive a world-class member experience, uphold high gym floor standards, lead gym inductions and teach engaging group exercise classes.
Responsibilities
- Place member experience at the heart of everything you do by engaging with members on the gym floor.
- Deliver welcoming and engaging tours for prospective members in line with JD Gyms brand standards.
- Deliver engaging group exercise classes and member inductions.
- Support prospective members with joining JD Gyms as required.
- Conduct club standards checks and ensure results are recorded in line with JD Gyms procedures.
- Provide ad hoc support to members as required.
- Maintain the club’s cleanliness standards at the highest level per management directions.
- Maintain brand standards, ensure safety and compliance with health and safety actions.
- Monitor service delivery through performance metrics and member feedback.
- Operate in a safe and legal manner while employed by JD Gyms.
- Consider energy, environmental, and waste management factors in daily operations.
- Analyze and present key data to support new ideas and initiatives.
Role Structure
- Employed Fitness Coach and Self-employed Personal Trainer.
- Part-time employed hours: 12 hours per week across 3 x 4-hour shifts, with a monthly salary.
- Separately, you may operate a self-employed PT business from the same gym, paying rent monthly and accessing leads from current and new members, supported by an internal PT Business Support team.
