Role Overview
You will be employed by JD Gyms on a part‑time basis (12 hours a week) completing three 4‑hour shifts as a Fitness Coach. Outside of your employed hours you can run a self‑employed Personal Training business from the gym, supported by our dedicated PT Business Support team.
Responsibilities
- Place member experience at the heart of everything you do, engaging members on the gym floor.
- Deliver welcoming and engaging prospective member tours and induct members into JD Gyms.
- Teach engaging group exercise classes that reflect JD Gyms brand standards.
- Support prospective members in joining JD Gyms as required.
- Conduct club standards checks, recording results accurately in JD Gyms record‑keeping procedures.
- Maintain peak cleanliness and brand standards, ensuring the club is safe and compliant with health and safety requirements.
- Monitor performance and member feedback, analysing and presenting key data to support new ideas and initiatives.
- Operate safely, complying with all legal and safety obligations at all times.

- Representative of JD Gyms brand standards and values.
- Enthusiastic and open to learning, able to adapt style to differing personalities.
- Resilient, welcoming to feedback and committed to continuous improvement.
- Strong focus on delivering an exceptional member experience.
- Flexible for part‑time hours and able to balance PT and coaching duties.
- Level 3 (EQF Level 4) Personal Trainer qualification.
- Experience with group exercise classes and member induction preferred.
