Duty Manager β Nottingham, Nottinghamshire
Job Type: Full Time (40 hours per week)
This role requires a team player with flair and commercial ability, as well as the skill, energy, and determination to help drive and develop the business alongside the General Manager. We\βre looking for a manager with experience in maintaining and developing standards and reputation, while nurturing a growing membership base and team.
The role:
- Help lead and manage the day-to-day running of the gym.
- Assume the responsibilities of the General Manager in their absence.
- Help lead and deliver the commercial performance of the business.
- Help lead and deliver operational excellence of the club.
- Deliver the set KPIs.
- Help recruit, train, and develop a team, leading them to success.
The candidate:
- Must have experience, ideally in a management position within a leisure-related industry.
- Must be passionate about customer service and an inspirational leader in management.
- Must be qualified to at least Level 2 Gym Instructor.
- Must have experience in driving sales, coordinating local marketing, and managing a successful team.
- Ideally have experience as an Assistant Manager overseeing all business areas within a leisure facility, or substantial experience as a Fitness Manager or similar operational role.
