You will have the autonomy to shape the gym's success, create a positive and motivating environment, and make a significant impact on both staff and members.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of managers, coaches, and assistants.
- Be a visible, inspiring presence on the gym floor–engaging with members and driving retention.
- Ensure operational excellence across health & safety, cleanliness, and compliance.
- Drive membership growth through local marketing, outreach, and community events.
- Monitor financial performance and deliver against key business targets.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in fitness, leisure, or hospitality.
- Strong commercial acumen and a track record of growing revenue.
- Passion for health and fitness, with a hands-on approach to member engagement.
- Experience managing teams and driving performance.
- Ideally, previous experience as a Fitness Manager, Duty Manager, or GM in a high-volume setting.
Competitive salary (£31,100 – £35,532, plus performance-related bonus up to 5.5% of annual salary, paid quarterly)
