Role Overview:
The purpose of this job is to ensure that all types of Store & Supplier returns are processed end to end in accordance with company procedures. Also responsible for investigating warehouse adjustments & dealing with various stock checks throughout the DC to maximise accuracy and stock availability. To implement and ensure adherence to all company procedures and ensure that the company’s high standards are achieved.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Unload, breakdown, and locate all inbound Retail Returns from both internal and external sources.
- Meet all KPI’s set within the department.
- Process all Retail/internet Return types from across the group.
- Report any potential quality or product issues to the Management team for review.
- Complete returns documentation & liaise with suppliers via email and phone.
- Maintain daily logs of all return consignments pending dispatch.
- Sort, grade & up-cycle selected types of stock.
- Assist with the ongoing development of colleagues and personal development.
- Liaise and interact with all operational functions within the DC to ensure that stocks and returns are processed & stored in their respective locations.
- Analyse adjustments and feedback your findings.
- Investigate stock movements within the department to ensure locations have the correct stock & quantities.
- Complete any other ad hoc tasks as directed by your line manager in line with current responsibilities.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Shogun/WMS skills preferred but not essential.
- Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- High literacy and numeracy skills to produce documentation and maintain accurate records.
- Ability to prioritise work.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Effective communication and operation with all levels of staff.
