Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the 3D lead designer to establish the 3D design process within the JD design team.
- Re-create 2D technical drawings into 3D workable assets.
- Utilize graphical knowledge to create 3D graphics, trims, and brandings using 3D software.
- Apply brand knowledge and understanding of the design process, including timelines and brand DNA, to facilitate the 3D workflow.
- Manage time effectively to plan workflow and create 3D assets across all Own Brands.
- Work with the 3D Lead and Design Manager on 3D and AI projects.
- Develop 3D knowledge, from patterns and design to trims and final rendering, to deliver assets to the team and studio.
- Possess knowledge of fabric, print, and factory technologies.
- Understand trend directions, brand DNA, and customer profiles.
- Engage with 3D software and processes, integrating them into the wider design team.
- Collaborate with the 3D Design Lead and 3D Product Development Lead to develop Bill of Materials within the 3D software.
- Gain knowledge of fabric scanning, fitting techniques, and avatars through collaboration with the 3D Design and Product Development Leads.
- Create 3D designs for Menswear, Womenswear, Juniors, and Accessories.
- Support departmental sustainability initiatives by exploring and initiating 3D opportunities.
- Conduct market research and visit tradeshows to stay updated with the latest 3D technologies.
