Role Overview:

The purpose of this job is to assist the Senior Product Developer & Product Developer with the development of the JD Own Brand product. Taking responsibility for specific areas under close supervision. The successful candidate will have relevant qualifications and some experience along with a passion for our product.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Issuing packs/comments & supplier communications throughout the process
  • Setting up basic size charts, maintaining and keeping the block library updated within the team
  • Interpreting fit meeting notes
  • Creating basic BOMs
  • Completing test report approvals/ITS online, chasing suppliers, and managing approvals
  • Understanding a test matrix and training with PD on its creation
  • Create care label templates
  • Monitoring critical path
  • Supporting packing list & invoice queries
  • Understanding sales analysis
  • Taking on areas of responsibility for specific ranges under guidance
  • Managing day-to-day incoming/outgoing samples with correct documentation
  • Maintaining style details/info on relevant systems
  • Assisting in the creation of tech packs and costings on the PLM system
  • Approving lab-dips and strike-offs, referring issues to the design and buying team
  • Participating in fit sessions and adding fit comments to the PLM system
  • Measuring samples and providing comments
  • Maintaining the critical path on PLM, chasing info from suppliers, and reporting issues
  • Assisting with costing, negotiation, and raising orders on the PLM system
