Role overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Floor Manager ready to step into a junior management role and advance within their management career. As the vital link between management and staff, you will have ample collaboration opportunities with senior managers, championing your and your team\’s career development.

Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction by driving and maintaining exceptional service standards and promptly addressing customer needs.
  2. Drive team sales through effective merchandising, stock replenishment, and team motivation.
  3. Lead and develop the shopfloor team to ensure high performance, engagement, and adherence to store policies and procedures.
  4. Ensure the shopfloor is consistently clean, organized, and visually appealing to enhance the customer shopping experience.
  5. Ensure that stock replenishment is completed regularly.
  6. Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving complaints professionally.
  7. Help manage day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  8. Support cash management tasks, such as processing transactions and reconciling tills.
  9. Foster a positive work environment by leading, mentoring, and developing store colleagues to enhance their performance and engagement.

Role objectives and KPIs:

  1. Contribute to achieving or exceeding the store\’s monthly sales target.
  2. Drive all additional KPIs including but not limited to Units, Conversion, ATV, UPT.
  3. Achieve upselling or cross-selling targets.
  4. Maintain a high Net Promoter Score.
  5. Ensure stock accuracy during store audits.
  6. Ensure all new colleagues complete mandatory training.
  7. Ensure employee satisfaction scores or engagement survey results meet or exceed company benchmarks.

Skills and Experience:

  1. Previous supervisory or management experience in a fast-paced retail/customer-facing environment.
  2. Passionate about retail and knowledgeable about the latest trends and competitors.
  3. Experience in coaching and developing individuals.
  4. Strong communication skills.
  5. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards on the shop floor.
  6. Ability to promote JD Group values to internal and external stakeholders.
