The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing cross-functional marketing initiatives that support the Retail organization’s commercial objectives. This role ensures seamless coordination across internal teams, effective management of campaign timelines and performance metrics—including CPA targets—and the efficient operation of the marketing project-management platform – Monday.com. The incumbent will maintain the central marketing calendar, uphold operational standards, and drive process excellence to support high-quality, on-time delivery of marketing activities.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage marketing projects that will involve creative, media, merchandising, digital, CRM, brand, and other teams across the business;
- Ensure project scopes, timelines, and deliverables are clearly defined, communicated, and adhered to;
- Facilitate alignment meetings, track project milestones, and proactively identify and mitigate risks;
- Oversee the execution workflow for marketing campaigns, ensuring inputs and deliverables support target CPAs and performance KPIs;
- Partner with media and analytics teams to monitor campaign performance and escalate issues requiring cross-team intervention;
- Ensure performance insights and requirements are incorporated into briefing and project planning process;
- Administer the marketing project-management platform, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely updates across all briefs and tasks;
- Review submitted briefs for completeness, consistency, and adherence to departmental standards before routing to relevant teams;
- Own and maintain the master marketing calendar, ensuring all campaigns, promotions, and key activities are accurately reflected and updated daily;
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project updates, changes, and stakeholder communication;
- Provide routine status reports to leadership, highlighting progress, risks, and resource considerations;
- Ensure all cross-functional partners are informed of upcoming deadlines, dependencies, and priority shifts.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational ability: demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced retail environment;
- Cross-functional collaboration: effective at building relationships and fostering alignment across diverse teams and functions;
- Analytical mindset: ability to interpret marketing performance data, track CPA metrics, and support data-driven decisions;
- Attention to detail: high level of accuracy in managing workflows, project documentation, and scheduling;
- Communication excellence: clear and professional communicator, capable of presenting information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
- Problem-solving & critical thinking: proactive in identifying issues and implementing solutions to maintain project momentum;
- Technical proficiency: skilled in marketing project-management platforms (e.g. Monday.com) and comfortable learning new tools;
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, project management, communications, or a related field;
- 3–5+ years of project management experience within a marketing, retail, or digital environment;
- Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects with cross-functional teams;
- Familiarity with retail marketing processes, campaign workflows, and promotional planning cycles;
- Working knowledge of digital marketing metrics and campaign performance indicators, including CPA, conversion rates, and ROAS;
- Proven track record of operating project-management systems and managing centralized calendars in a corporate environment;
- Example Certifications associated to the role: PMP (Project Management Professional) – PMI; CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) – PMI; PRINCE2 Foundation/Practitioner & Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) – PM.
