We’re looking for a dynamic Head of Marketing & Communications to lead our marketing function, grow brand visibility and drive membership growth across our expanding gym network. You’ll bring strong commercial thinking, creative flair and a data driven approach to deliver high impact, high performance marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Strategy
- Lead, develop and inspire a multidisciplinary marketing team.
- Own annual planning, budgeting and full funnel marketing strategy.
- Foster a collaborative, creative and performance led culture.
- Growth & Campaigns
- Lead paid media across search, social and influencer channels to deliver strong ROAS.
- Manage brand campaigns and agency partners to deliver standout creative.
- Oversee organic social and creator activity to build awareness and engagement.
- Retention & CRM
- Reduce churn and increase lifetime value through improved customer journeys.
- Optimise CRM, onboarding and comms workflows.
- Use A/B testing to improve conversion, pricing and offers.
- Digital Experience
- Support optimisation of website and app journeys.
- Improve UX and conversion across all digital touchpoints.
- Data & Insight
- Track KPIs using GA4 and other analytics tools.
- Produce clear reports and insights for senior stakeholders.
- Use data to shape strategy and maximise performance.
- PR & Communications
- Lead digital PR to enhance brand reputation and support SEO.
- Align activity with internal teams across Legal, Operations and Commercial.
- Oversee internal communications to support engagement.
About You
Experience & Skills
- Senior marketing experience within fitness, leisure or subscription based brands (c. £10m+ turnover).
- Proven success driving membership acquisition, brand growth and retention.
- Hands-on experience with paid media, influencer marketing, CRM and analytics.
- Strong stakeholder and presentation skills.
