Role overview
Working with the Trading Manager to ensure commercial targets are met, for sales, GPV and EBIT.
Creating a trading plan and building relationships with digital channel teams and buying & merchandising functions.
Responsibilities
- Review the website content & customer journey to ensure relevancy across all devices (web, mobile, app).
- Constantly review the navigation and structure of all channels looking for ways to improve visitor/buyer conversion rates.
- Review the seasons trading, looking for opportunities to drive sales, through new brands and ranges.
- Regular website walk-throughs across all devices.
- Understand the Retail performance and adjust plans accordingly.
- Be aware of what competitors are doing, looking for new trends and developments.
- Testing & tracking promotional mechanics.
- Additional support across key trading periods.
- Review previous week’s performance and propose and agree actions for the week.
- Review daily sales identifying areas of weakness, proposing, and taking action to increase sales and ensuring optimal stock availability at all times.
- Tracking, reporting and recommending solutions for slow sellers.
- Suggesting markdown and promotional events in line with brand strategy and tracking performance and reporting on successes and missed opportunities.
- Working with Merchandising to drive order fulfilment from Digital warehouses.
- Working with digital channel teams to ensure campaigns are consistent and successful.
- Work with Marketing to support 3rd party brand campaign execution.
- Manage the key website metrics across each financial period to ensure all targets are met.
- Support and share learnings with wider trading & country teams.
- Manage the relationship with digital merchandising counterparts.
- Support across key brand relationships.
- Establish working relationships with divisional Buying & Merchandise teams.
- Work closely with all Digital functions across Digital Marketing functions, Content, Social and Copywriting.
- Create strong relationships with Marketing function.
