As an administrator you will be responsible for overseeing all administrative tasks to ensure efficient store operations, including managing rotas, assisting in recruitment, and onboarding, and handling cashing up procedures. The administrators support the management team in maintaining accurate records for attendance and payroll, maintaining store consumables, handling customer enquiries and facilitate communication between management and store employees.

Responsibilities

  • Update and maintain staff rotas, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts.
  • Assist in store recruitment from reviewing applications, conducting interviews, and facilitating the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Perform daily cash handling tasks, including banking.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure financial accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain accurate record of attendance and payroll.
  • Address customer enquiries professionally and efficiently.
  • Order and manage store consumables to ensure all necessary supplies are available.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate for timely restocking.
  • Handle all other general administrative duties to support the store operations.

Role objectives and KPIs

  • Ensure strict adherence to all established procedures related to cash handling, which includes counting the cash accurately, recording all transactions diligently, securing the cash in designated areas, and reconciling the cash drawer at the end of each shift.
  • Ensuring strict compliance with all audit standards, implementing them diligently and thoroughly in every to maintain the highest level of transparency and accuracy.
