Supplier Manager – Technology & Digital

Responsibilities:

  • Support and deliver both the Group Procurement and the Business strategy.
  • Act as a commercial lead for procurement and contract activities.
  • Ensure that all negotiation and contracting work aligns with Group and sector best practices while driving value, mitigating risk, and enabling sustainable business growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Digital and Technology, Sourcing, Legal and Finance.
  • Help segment the Supplier base and implement Governance including reporting packs, Scorecards, SLA monitoring, Volume consumption, KPI dashboards, stats and Invoicing issues.
  • Organise, lead and deliver Monthly Service Reviews.
  • Drive regular engagement with the Stakeholder groups.
  • Manage continual performance improvement.
  • Develop skills to mentor and develop the stakeholder community in best practices around Supplier Management.
  • Effectively manage escalations both externally and internally.
  • Be the primary point of contact for key vendors.
  • Monitor renewal dates and support the Sourcing team with re-negotiations.

Skills/Experience/Knowledge required:

  • Possess commercial experience within fast-paced omni-channel retail or relevant commodity/services.
  • Demonstrate confidence in owning problems and proposing solutions.
  • Be a self-starter with the initiative to seek out opportunities to deliver value.
  • Influence and drive change by engaging with stakeholders.
  • Exhibit strong engagement and communication skills.
  • Maintain attention to detail with a focus on related categories.
  • Be driven by data and analytics, using strong analytical skills to develop innovative solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
