About the Role

We are looking for a highly analytical and business-oriented Business Analyst to support the growth of our Marketplace (POP) business. In this role, you will partner closely with Business, Category, Supply Chain, Operations, Product, and Finance teams to deliver data-driven insights, identify growth opportunities, and drive operational excellence across the marketplace ecosystem. You will play a key role in business performance management, strategic analysis, and decision support, enabling sustainable growth for merchants and the platform.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse Marketplace (POP) business performance and develop regular business reviews, dashboards, and management reports;
  • Monitor key business metrics including GMV, Orders, Revenue, Merchant Performance, Conversion, Fulfilment, and Customer Experience;
  • Identify business opportunities and operational issues through data analysis, providing actionable recommendations to improve performance;
  • Partner with Category, Marketplace Operations, Supply Chain, Product, Finance, and Marketing teams to support business planning and strategic initiatives;
  • Conduct merchant, assortment, pricing, promotion, and category analyses to support commercial decision-making;
  • Build forecasting models and support annual planning, quarterly business reviews (QBR), and business target tracking;
  • Design and maintain business KPIs, reporting frameworks, and performance monitoring mechanisms;
  • Support business case development for new initiatives and evaluate post-launch performance;
  • Drive automation and continuous improvement of reporting and analytical processes;
  • Present insights and recommendations to business leaders and senior management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Supply Chain, or a related field;
  • 3–7 years of experience in Business Analytics, Commercial Analytics, Strategy, Marketplace Operations, Consulting, or eCommerce;
  • Experience in eCommerce, Marketplace (POP), Retail, or Internet platforms is highly preferred;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into business insights;
  • Advanced SQL skills are required; experience with Python or R is a plus;
  • Proficiency in Excel and BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar platforms;
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional communication skills;
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment;
  • Fluent in English; Mandarin is a plus.
