This exciting opportunity is within the JD UK business division. As a pivotal member of our UK PMO Team, you will be at the forefront of driving data-driven decision-making and strategic insights. You will be responsible for crafting innovative business intelligence strategies and delivering high-impact analytical solutions that support project management and operational excellence across various initiatives. Your expertise will be instrumental in generating actionable insights from UK consumer data and enhancing project outcomes, ultimately driving our business growth and success in the UK market.
This position is site based at our UK, London office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own Reporting/BI roadmap by working with business leaders and strategically prioritize numerous requests and long-term adoption of new products;
- Develop performance dashboards with key metrics for review with senior leadership and business teams;
- Empower internal customers to self-sufficiency in analytics and reporting via business intelligence and visualization software;
- Create data pipelines from a data lake to various reporting, visualization, and modelling tools;
- Use statistical and Machine Learning techniques for strategic deep dives and generate actions, as well as communicating in front of senior leadership;
- Partner with leaders and subject matter experts to best understand the business needs and help shape those needs into the most useful reporting developments and infrastructure;
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data led solutions.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, business intelligence platforms, and data visualization tools (especially Power BI and Azure Data Warehouse);
- Experience in business partnering and production of business data solutions;
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills;
- Experience of leading and defining data operating models;
- Advanced knowledge of SQL including building complex queries an administrative script;
- Experience in the Retail industry;
- Project management experience, including the ability to effectively plan, execute, and monitor projects to successful completion.
